Some of the best tennis talent in the state descended on Collin County over the weekend for the Allen Eagle Invitational. Among those was Plano Senior's AJ Liu, pictured, who advanced to the semifinals of the 32-person boys singles bracket Friday. Matches were washed out Saturday. Also advancing to the semifinals before play got halted was the Plano West mixed doubles team of Adam Mlynarczyk and Alahna Reto. The top local players will be back at Allen April 8-9 for the district tournament.
